The wine blog is officially up and running!

What started as an assignment during my university days, has blossomed into this... A website over 8000 years in the making. A consequence of many years of debate on the benefits of wine.

Wine... The Good, Bad & the Bubbly was founded in May 2006 when a university undergraduate was forced to put together a web site based on a controversial science topic.

They expected only the best and finest from him. Days passed without any progress and in that time he resorted to drinking leftover wines for any form of inspiration.

Then it dawned upon him that wines do go bad after being opened for a couple of weeks.

Rejected and alone, with an impending deadline just round the corner; out of the ashes of desperation and hopelessness, came forth what you are reading today.

I hope you'll have as much fun exploring this intriguing topic of wine as much as I have enjoyed drinking making it.

Cheers!

Look what I found when I went to work today... One of our patients gave us individual gift packs! Mine's the Daily Face Hydrator (with sunscreen), from the fine range at Nutrimetics. *wohoo!*

Thank you my dear; you know who you are...
I pray that your baby will be a bright shining star,
With the courage of his father & the kindness of his mum,
And maybe in the future, more bundles of joy to come.

God bless you my dear!

Check out the guy in the pink shirt... He's amazing!

Why Computers Sometimes Crash!
by Dr. Seuss.

If a packet hits a pocket on a socket on a port,
and the bus is interrupted at a very last resort,
and the access of the memory makes your floppy disk abort,
then the socket packet pocket has an error to report...

If your cursor finds a menu item followed by a dash,
and the double-clicking icon puts your window in the trash,
and your data is corrupted cause the index doesn't hash,
then your situation's hopeless and your system's gonna crash!

If the label on the cable on the table at your house,
says the network is connected to the button on your mouse,
but your packets want to tunnel to another protocol,
that's repeatedly rejected by the printer down the hall..

And your screen is all distorted by the side effects of gauss,
so your icons in the window are as wavy as a souse;
then you may as well reboot and go out with a bang,
'cuz sure as I'm a poet, the sucker's gonna hang...

When the copy on your floppy's getting sloppy in the disk,
and the macro code instructions cause unwanted risk,
then you'll have to flash the BIOS and you'll want to RAM your ROM,
just quickly turn the darn thing off and run to tell your Mom!

Well, that certainly clears things up for me. How about you?
Thank you, Bill Gates, for bringing all this into our lives!

After spending most of the week basking under the warm glow of fluorescent lights and smelling like hospital disinfectant, I can't think of a better way to spend my off-day than helping a friend sell these...

Behold, I present to you a delicacy riddled with bacteria; tasting like sweet milk just gone bad; something that your brain cannot comprehend but you just can't stop eating; and for all you health conscious people, its 96% fat-free!

Its non other than the famous Greek Athena Yogurt!

It comes in 8 different flavours - Mixed Berries, Blueberries, Passionfruit, Mango, Apple & Cinnamon, Boysenberry, Cappuccino and Naturally Sweetened.

My favourite - Blueberries!

Mango, one of our biggest sellers...

Passionfruit - For all you tangy people...

This is the plain and boring one... Oh sorry, Naturally Sweetened! ^_^

5 handfuls of fresh blueberries & LOTS of love, sweat and tears... Okay, maybe not the sweat and tears...

Finally, all decked out in its full glory...

Martin's sister, Christine, who happily bought 2 tubs of yogurt back to Singapore - "Have a great time back home!"
